I don't see the new MySQL plugin in the Mac 2009r2 download. Where is it located?
It's a separate download located in the Additional Utilities section on the downloads page: :http://realsoftware.com/download/

I can see the download for the Community edition plugin there, but what about the Enterprise version?
Also curious why MySQL is a separate download while the other DBs are included in the main download, but that doesn't matter too much.
Thanks for your help.
There is a blog post a few posts down about why the MySQL Enterprise Server plugin is not in this release. We will be releasing the Enterprise plugin separately very soon.

Starting with R3 we will include the MySQL plugins in the main product download.
There current doesn't seem to be any documentation or examples regarding COM, or am I missing something? I would love to try this out.
About REAL Studio functionnalities, the post says:
- IDE Scripting for build automation.
Does it mean that IDE Scripting other than build automation works in REALbasic Pro?
IDE Scripting is no longer a feature of Pro.

i downloaded 2009 r2demo, i am trying this out as i plan on programming for the iphone. so learning objective-c also. making the program with realbasic first will give me a good prototype.
Having problems right now. Trying to create databases when the program crashes. redownloaded entire r2 but still crashes. help requested
I believe there is a known bug in the database editor. It's fixed for R3. If you purchase R2 (the current release) you can download R1 and use the database editor there.
i am making up my mind about purchasing the product. are you saying that i have to purchase the program before i can get the fix?
70 improvements and 18 new features. Where is the link to show what has changed? Does COM support count as 1 feature or 18?
You can get to the release notes from the product download page and they are also included in the product download itself. Here is a direct link: http://realsoftware.cachefly.net/REALbasic2009r2/ReleaseNotes.pdf
