Well, that demo shows that the "web app" doesn't have native widgets on iPhone: the difficulty manipulating the scroll bar on the iPhone is a case in point. Native apps use a swipe action to scroll, etc.

Yes, there are a couple of controls that need improvement (such as easier scrolling) but I think it's doable. Ideally, we would be providing controls that have the native look and feel for iOS, Android, etc. But the point I'm making is that you can create mobile web apps with our initial release of Web Edition.

Yes. It was sample application we created to show off the web edition and the data was randomly generated. None of it came from our customer data.

And can see a sample preview, directly on the web ... for me would be the turning point.
I tried to view the video but it keeps saying that an error occurred. I'm on a macbook pro running 10.6 using a safari browser. I tried yesterday too.
